Lunet Old City Hotel

We stayed at this hotel as a couple and had a genuinely great experience!! The hotel is brand new, which was one of the things that drew us in, and it’s in a fantastic location — close to Sultan Ahmed and Hagia Sofia by tram but also really easy to get to Taksim square as well as Galata Tower by metro. It made exploring the city super convenient actually. The hotel itself has a modern design, but at the same time it felt cozy and welcoming. The room was comfortable, and we have to say the mattress was absolutely amazing! We both slept incredibly well, which isn’t always the case when traveling. The staff were kind and attentive, always ready to help with anything we needed. They really made us feel at home. Breakfast was served on the rooftop with an amazing sea view, which was such a great way to start the day. We especially enjoyed the menemen and Turkish coffee! We’ll definitely come back here on our next trip to Istanbul!!!

A wonderful new hotel in the heart of Istanbul – 100% recommended! We had a fantastic stay at Lunet Old City Hotel. It’s a newly opened hotel, beautifully decorated with a warm, comfortable style that makes you feel at home right away. The beds, pillows, and bed linens are incredibly comfortable and clearly of high quality—a real standout! Prices are very competitive, and we truly hope they stay that way. The breakfast was simply exceptional—delicious and varied, served in a lovely dining room on the 7th floor with a cozy atmosphere and great views. The staff is outstanding, from the front desk to the breakfast team. A special mention goes to the reception team and the lovely lady in charge of breakfast, who made our stay even more enjoyable with their kindness and professionalism. As for the location, it’s very convenient: Only 10 minutes on foot from the Havaist Airport Shuttle stop (Aksaray Metro) 6 minutes to Aksaray Tram station Just 4 minutes to both Yenikapı Metro and Tram stations Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!

Our experience at Lunet Old City Hotel was simply outstanding from start to finish. The hotel is beautifully new and thoughtfully designed, offering a perfect blend of modern comfort and warm hospitality. Our room was spotless, with a very comfortable bed and a pristine, well-equipped bathroom that made us feel completely at ease. The lobby is a relaxing space, ideal for unwinding after a day of exploring the city. And the breakfast—what a treat! There was an amazing variety of delicious options, all enjoyed with a stunning sea view that made mornings extra special. What truly sets Lunet apart, however, is the exceptional team. Every single person we encountered was kind, helpful, and genuinely caring. A special thank you to the Owner, who personally checked in to ensure we were happy throughout our stay. Also, heartfelt thanks to the wonderful receptionist Cem, and to Layla, the Manager, whose professionalism and warmth made us feel truly welcomed. At Lunet, we didn’t just find a place to stay—we found a place that felt like home. We are sincerely grateful for such a memorable experience and can’t wait to return.

Small hotel with about 35 rooms. Staff demonstrated excellent customer relations and were fluent in English. Hotel newly built so modern high standard design and quality. Bed comfortable. Effective, quiet air conditioning. Breakfast restaurant at top floor with great views and comfortable seating and layout. Breakfast food and beverages high quality. Located in Yenikapi quarter in Fatih district on European side of Bosphorus. Close ( 5 minute walk) to Yenikapi Station, a major public transport centre accessing M1 and M2 metro lines, T6 tram and B2 suburban train line. Many restaurants, cafes and bars in vicinity.

Perfect staff. Perfect location. Not free but there is parking place for car, which is very important at this place of city. Very very smiling and pleasant staff at the reception and kitchen and cleaning.... all was really very nice. Also the room was very clean and new. Nothing to complain about, even teeth brush and other things were on place. Free water, tea, cattle.... shortly everything was pretty enough. It exceeded my expectations for a 3* hotel. Maybe this is the only 3* hotel with a perfect bed :)) Thank you guys.
